OPSS are holding a short online session for Primary Authorities (PAs) and their business partners on Button Battery business compliance measures.
Who should attend: PAs and Business Partners for businesses who:
- sell button batteries and/or products containing button batteries
- have a role in safe disposal
Primary Authorities and business partners work closely together to ensure business compliance and consumer safety. Please join this session for an update on Button Battery safety requirements and practical insights on compliance
What will be covered:
- Background
- Awareness and application of the Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 7055, Button & Coin batteries - Safety Requirements - Specification (Tom Penton B & Q)
- Button Batteries: Environmental obligations from start to end of life (OPSS)
